Peter Cook International will make every attempt to make your
online purchase from us quick, easy & painless. We hope
that you enjoy using our site as much as we enjoyed creating
it! Please take the time to read the following information carefully
(although we know it isn’t the most interesting of reads)
it is important you are aware of our t&c’s.
When you place an order with us online for product(s) you
are offering to buy it for the price stated, subject to the
following terms.
Ordering
An email will be sent to you to acknowledge your order and
confirm we have received it. This email is generated automatically
so it does not necessarily mean that we will be able to fulfil
the order. When we receive the order we will check our stock
availability. When everything is confirmed we will send you
an email to offer a realistic delivery date (usually next
day with orders received before 2pm). In the unlikely event
that the product isn’t in stock we will contact you
to discuss the matter further. We will state one or more of
the following; a due date for product(s) you have ordered,
offer alternatives to your choice or outline part shipment
options.
Peter Cook International may cancel any sale and not supply
product(s) if it is reasonable to do so and may change or
discontinue the availability of product(s) at any time at
its sole discretion. If an order is cancelled, any payment
made for the product(s) will be refunded in full. The does
not affect your statutory rights.
All new orders are considered and treated as separate entities.
Pricing
We always try to make sure that the prices on petercookint.com
are accurate but we are only human after all! If we discover
an error in pricing of the products in your order we will
inform you as soon as possible using the contact details you
supply us with. We will then give you the option of reconfirming
your order at the correct price or cancelling it. (If we are
unable to reach you we will treat the order as cancelled).
If an order is cancelled, any payment made for the products
will be returned via your chosen payment method.
For our customers overseas it is important to note that prices
are quoted Sterling, outside the UK your banking house should
exchange the total amount of your order to the currency of
your country at the rate set by your banking house at that
time.
Payment
If you are ordering directly from our website you must pay
for your product before it is delivered and you can do so
by credit/debit card, cheque or postal order.
Credit Card – We endeavour to take payments within two
days of ordering your product, this doesn’t hold your
order for that time period, it is simply the banking delay
between your payment and the release of funds to us.
All your order details and invoices will be sent to the billing
address and not the delivery address where delivery address
differs to the billing address.
Back Orders
We endeavour to keep stock of the listed items & indicate
if any particular item(s) are out of stock. Should an order
be placed for item(s), which are not in stock, we will contact
you immediately giving details of any shortages. At this point,
you may cancel the order, cancel that part of the order that
is not available or accept the alternatives we have offered.
If you are prepared to wait, balances will be sent when the
product arrives into our warehouse, we will always offer an
estimated date of delivery. We always e-mail our customers
confirming that orders have been despatched. We also send
e-mails, when balances are sent. You will also be informed
of the method of shipment.
Shipping & Handling
Peter Cook International works in partnership with TNT Distribution
who offer a 98% success rate for deliverance of packages on
time. Peter Cook International surrenders accountability for
the package when TNT collect from our depot. Responsibility
for the goods passes to the customer, when the goods are handed
to the carrier. We make every effort to deliver within the
time stated on petercookint.com but we will not be liable
for any loss caused to you by late delivery. Should insurance
cover be required, it may be arranged at extra cost.
Our carrier operates between 9am and 5pm on weekdays as standard,
Saturday delivery can be arranged. Please specify a delivery
address where someone will be able to sign for your products
between these hours. If in the uncommon situation that a delivery
is attempted but not achieved, then our carrier will try and
deliver the package once more before it is returned to us.
You will then be responsible for additional carriage charges
where applicable.
Returns & Refunds
Unwanted Goods – if you return the product (in good
condition) within 30 days of date of receipt, we will refund
you any money which you have paid us for that product. All
you pay for is any carriage charges you incur. We will allocate
you with a returns code (this should be visible on your package
to ensure that your return is dealt with quickly). We reserve
the right to deduct monies for any damage to the goods, up
to the full value of the product, should it fail to get back
to us in good condition.
Faulty Goods – We try to select and
package the products as well as possible to ensure they arrive
in good condition. However, if a product arrives damaged or
with defects, or is not what you ordered, we will replace
it free of charge or provide a full refund as appropriate,
if you return the product to us at the postal address below
within 30 days of receipt.
In these circumstances we will also pay you the cost of the
return postage. Please obtain a proof of posting certificate
from your Post Office to enable us to process the refund for
your return postage costs. For help with items later than
30 days after your initial purchase please email us for more
information. This does not affect your Statutory Rights.

method which requires a signature upon delivery such as Royal
Mail First Class (recorded delivery)
VAT
All prices quoted on this website include VAT at the UK rate
of 17.5%. Delivery outside the EU may be subject to local
import taxes, which are your responsibility where they apply.
