International Deliveries

Shipping FAQs
I’m not in the UK, can I still buy some of these wonderful upholstery components from Peter Cook?
Yes, of course!
Great how does delivery work?
You have 2 overall main options you can arrange an Ex-Works Collection from us, or we can look at arranging delivery for you.
If I want a delivery is there a standard change?
Unfortunately, not no, as we sell such a variety of goods big and small carriers and hauliers are unable to give standard charges, however as we export to 6 out of 7 continents, we know specialists in moving freight all around the world so know the best people to ask. What we will do, is firstly look at the items you are looking to order then check the best way to get them to you and provide you with a quote for the freight before you commit to going ahead.
This sounds great, what next?
Once we have arranged the delivery, we will let you know when goods have been collected and send you a commercial invoice so that you have this ready for when local customs contact you, as all goods are shipped DAP and we can also quote for clearance too if required. This way, your local customs house will communicate directly with you, meaning you get your goods a little quicker!
Wonderful, how much do I need to pay local customs?
As you can imagine, Peter Cook supply a large range of products and some may have differing import charges than others at your location, the best way to check would be to check https://www.trade-tariff.service.gov.uk/find_commodity with the commodity code which we will be happy to provide to you so you can check in advance.
That’s amazing! How long does delivery take?
This will obviously depend where in the world you are, and the type of haulier being used. If you require something before a specific date, please let us know and we can ask one of our delivery partners to see what options are available and at what cost.
Is there any other information that Peter Cook will need from me?
As the UK is no longer part of the EU, if you are within the EU we will need an EORI number. This is something that you will need to set up independently with customs and excise in your country before we can dispatch goods. If you don’t have a EORI number, the below link has all the links to your country to register https://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/customs-4/union-customs-code/national-customs-administrations_en
